We biked 35 miles today.
We had slept at Pat & Sharon'd last night - we had a great breakfast and then she took us to pick up our bike. It had rained during the night so it was still overcast but we are excited about meeting up with our biking friends at the COWS rally.
We checked into the Courtyard By Mariot about 11:00 AM aand believe it or not we had a flat tire an the rear of the bike rite in the lobby of the hotel. So we spent the first half hour at the rally changing our tire in our room.
We met up with Deb & Dennis and went biking on the trails for a bit before the rally started. John and Rolf spent an hour or so putting the new chains and rear cassette on the bike before we headed out for the ice cream ride.
The ice cream ride was 21 miles and it was a beautiful, hilly, and scenic ride. It is always so much fun being with this group. The last stop before the hotel was at the Capital brewery and then we headed back to the hotel and got cleaned up and went out to eat with 16 other bikers. We went to the Quaker Steak and Lube. Great day with great friends!

ReplyDeleteGary we just have one pump on our bike now - we ditched the old pump. However, we also have a floor pump that we have on our Bob. Our original frame pump would only produce 45 psi so we bought a new one and replaced it with a new one on Friday.
